The limited edition of Bingo Trappers’ “Sister Planet” is sold out.
I painted all 50 covers planned for this series with the exception of the three copies that I will keep for myself.
“Sister Planet” was released in 2013, it took nine years to complete the series. If I look at the gallery where the scans of the originals are stored, I have a clear image of how much my style has changed, it has evolved.
The Almost Halloween Time project is constantly evolving. I often don’t recognize myself in my first works and I think it’s good.
My hands, that when I started drawing were rusty, today move quickly. With the years and practice I have learned to draw better and better.
“Sister Planet” is a great record. I have been Bingo Trappers fans forever, ever since their records were released on Shrimper, Luveable Nurse and H Records.
Shortly after the release of “Sister Planet” I met Waldemar in person and I was lucky enough to attend a Bingo Trappers concert for the first time.
Hearing the songs that are part of “Sister Planet” play live was an unforgettable experience.
Since then Waldemar and I have seen each other several times and with Almost Halloween Time Records I have released two other Bingo Trappers records: Elizabethan and Giddy Wishes.
If you missed “Sister Planet”, you can still listen to it here and possibly buy one of the few copies that still remain of the version with the screened cover.
Now I just have to draw the last three covers, the ones that will remain mine.
