NOIANOISER

“NOIANOISER” is a low-fi album resulting from home recordings
made with vintage analogue equipment such as tape recorders
cassettes and old cheap microphones picked up at flea markets which were later integrated with studio recordings.

The recurring theme of the album is that of urban abandonment, existential and spiritual. The album consists of eight songs that range from psychedelic freak folk to the lopsided rock’n’roll of Beat Happening concluding with a revisitation in noise guise of a song by the 70s Cleveland band Mirrors.

ZIST (strictly with caps lock) is a project characterized by the Low-Fi ethics/aesthetics of DIY origin. Over the years and
of the publications there were various influences and various sounds for the
albums: from psychedelic folk to garage rock to experiments with industrial electronics.
From 2021 to 2024, 5 self-produced EP and albums were published

The project is presented live solo by ZIST on guitar and vocals
accompanied by an old drum machine.

“NOIANOISER” comes out on Almost Halloween
Records, Hvergelmir and Cruel Records.
