I’m a nerd, I know, but it’s not my fault if I’m so in love with Shrimper Records.
I’ve recently added a ”new” old cassette to my collection. A Very old one and I’m happy as a child. I don’t know much about this band apart from their name ”Jive” and I don’t think a google search will help me to shred some light on this obscure piece of the 90s. With Shrimper it was love at first listening and time hasn’t changed my feelings, how could be otherwise if they continue releasing great stuff (woods, john thill, donovan quinn!!!). My – not so secred hope/plan is to collect them all. It is not easy and I will probably fail, but I’m gonna try. Some of you probably has a box of old tapes in the garage, basement or cellar. Don’t let the dust bury your tapes and help this poor crazy man realize his obsession. Show me your Buzzsaw, Fip Placard, Refrigerator tapes!!!!!
